Storyline
<br />
The Deceiver is not reknown as such without just cause. Only moments after the death of Soulblighter at The Forge of Tharsis, he disappeared from the face of the earth.
<br />
<br />
Four years went by before his whereabouts was discovered.
<br />
<br />
It turns out that the Deciever has spent the last four years hidden away in the Valley of Dionisis, a small dip in the Cloudspine Mountains.
<br />
There, he has rebuilt an army of the undead.
<br />
<br />
Enter now Traitor of Darkness

Classic Map Pack (SB) (v2)
<br />
<br />
UPDATE: This is the final release of the Classic Map Packs. These have been adapted to make best use of the final Myth3 1.1 Patch developed by Mythdev.com in association with Playmyth.net. This MapPack is Officially approved for Online Ranked Gameplay on Playmyth.net. This MapPack also makes use of the NEW Myth3 variations of Fetch and Journeyman units. Enjoy.

Description:
<br />
About this map pack
<br />
<br />
The SB Map Pack is a map plugin for MythIII: The Wolf Age which features netmaps from MythII: Soulblighter brought to life in this new engine. All of these maps have received loving care for their transition into the Myth III engine. As much as they are ports, and they play very similar to their Myth II counterparts, they are just as much new maps. Enjoy and embrace the changes - in almost every case they are an improvement.

BODY:
<br />
 This map is set in a desert indside Trow territory, it is designed for 4 teams, and has each team starting in a corner, surrounded by large trow walls. In the centre of the map there is a large rift, which is full of water, so that only the undead, and Trow can get across it. The central flag is located on a island in the middle of the water, and the only way for a lot of units to reach it is to go through one of the two world knots, located at the top and bottom of the map. Once units go through, however, they may not be able to get back from the centre of the map. Units will also be teleported to the opposite side of the island from the knot they entered, which will mean that they can be fired upon from the cliffs by opposing teams.
<br />
<br />
There are a few different tactics that can be employed on this map, one is to send al your units through the world knot, and another is to get all undead units, and hide them in the water surrounding the central island. However with two teams fighting for control over the knots, and over the entrances to the water, it will be difficult to find a way that will work every time. On all the meshes the assasin target is Emporer Leitrim, and the stampede/hunting targets are ducks, that can float over the water.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Dead Man's Rift
<br />
This is the dark variant, the teams start with souless, Trow, Forgotten, Ohgre, Thrall, Wights, Warlocks and Dwarven Heros. The Souless can float over the cliffs, and shoot at enemies that approach the center. The units are much better balanced than on the test versions, with the player being able to choose many options without risk of making no contest.
<br />
<br />
Dead Man's Rift (light)
<br />
As the name suggests this is a light version, and the teams get Archers, Warriors, Stygs, Beserks and Heron Gaurds. On legendary mode teams can also get an Avatara who has 3 Dream spells capable of wiping out an entire army. I have included the fire patch to this map, so archer's fire arrows are very effective.
<br />
<br />
Dead Man's Rift (2 Team)
<br />
This is the 2 team version, and teams start top and bottom of the map, each with control of one of the knots. The units are the same as Dead Man's Rift, and tactics are slightly different, as players must decide when to send units to the middle, instead of trying to take the opportunity when they have control of the knot.
<br />
<br />
Champions Rift
<br />
This is a 4 team mesh, and instead of all the teams starting with the same units, on this mesh, each team starts with a completely different army. Armies of light, dark, Myrkridia, and the spider cult, all battle it out. The similarities between the armies are: All teams have wights, and either souless or archers, and either thrall or stygs. Apart from that all the units are different, which makes tactics very hard to apply each time.
<br />
<br />
Giants Rift
<br />
Also 4 teams, but this time all the teams start with a choice of different giants. There are also Heron Guards to choose from, up to an army of 20, but all the other units are giants. Trow, Iron Trow, Trow Priests, Spider Gods, Mykridian Giants and avatara all feature in the map.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Thanks to all the people who helped with the beta/alpha testing, and thanks to those who suggested ideas for the meshes (Aginor + Others).
<br />
Thanks to Hpaco and the Dawg Pound for the Myrkridian Giant

Clem's M3 TexturePack1
<br />
<br />
<br />
This is a handy archive of 31 Detail Textures in a Drag and Drop format for Myth3 Vengeance. Use them as you wish. Give credit where credit is due.
<br />
<br />
Many of these textures have been used in my Myth3 releases and my upcoming Myth3 releases.
<br />
<br />
Detail Texture format: Detail textures in Myth3 need to be Photoshop files. To build a drag and drop friendly texture for Myth3 format your file the following way. Your base layer is your texture. 128, 256, or 512 pixel tile-able textures work best. Above that base texture layer make a New blank layer. No layer mask needed. Save the file as a Photoshop file and it will now be able to be dragged into a Vengeance Detail Texture Stack Layer.
<br />
<br />
NOTE: All textures except for classic collections like pregames and overhead maps are handled this same way in Myth3.
<br />
<br />
As I produce more detail textures for my own use I'll upload them in sets.
<br />
Enjoy.<BR>

The JFIF stripper 0.5
<br />
GUI Application written by khrome
<br />
based on a command line function by daisykiller
<br />
The JFIF_Stripper is a free Java application which strips any number of JPEG/JFIF images from a file, it was created for use with Myth III tags but will work on most files containg JPEG images. This Version is Packaged for PCs Running Windows and requires the suns JRE 1.3.1 or higher which is available at java.sun.com. The classes however are standard java2, so they will run on any platform supporting java2.
<br />
Operation
<br />
Upon opening the application you are presented with the viewer window with an empty buffer. In the upper left is an indicator of your current postion out of the total number of JPEG images in the buffer.
<br />
Open a file in the file menu using.. you guessed it the "open" option and it will dump all the JPEGs it finds into the view window buffer.
<br />
The arrow buttons skip through the images and the jump command in the option menu allows you to jump to a specific JPEG.
<br />
Files are saved individually via the save command.
<br />
<br />
0.6 Features
<br />
The stripper will now only attempt to load up to a maximum (the default is 100) and is displayed to the right of the current total. this current total can be edited in the options menu.
<br />
To get the next set of images in the current file use Option->Next Set
<br />
The progress bar is inaccurate, so don't pay attention to it.. also be aware it will persist until you have retrieved all images in a file.
<br />
<br />
Any comments, suggestions or bugs should be directed towards: abbey@khrome.net

Enjoy!

<b>Taken from the strategy section of the readme:</b>
<br />
The most obvious two characteristics of Triple Backstab are the fact that both meshes have 3 start locations, and the excessive capability for wights. Separately, these are interesting features, and together, they make for a really fun and interesting game.
<br />
<br />
You will probably find that after the first one or two games on King of the Hill, rushing the hill with maximum melee, especially at the end, simply won't work. With a maximum of 6 wights on each team and the deep pools of water with very steep sides, it makes it very easy for a player to surprise you. Instead, you will have to devise your own strategies in order to win. You will discover a pretty important rule: stay away from the water! The three main pools in the center have 3 back entrances which look a bit like waterfalls. These are perfect for taking wights in without the other teams noticing, however watch out for the other teams who might have the same idea!
<br />
<br />
Even games such as Flag Rally, Territories, and Capture the Flag, which don't focus around the central area have their own playing style. When crossing to the other side of the map, do you take the shortcut across the center when you have very little time remaining, or do you take the more safe route around the edge of the map? This peripheral movement can create interesting rotational gameplay, as the 3 teams move around the map in a circle, tagging flags.
<br />
<br />
The dark and light meshes were designed so that the dark mainly have units which can cross under and over the water, while the light have units which can mainly only travel around. The exception to the dark's underwater theme are the beserks, while the exception to the light's more restricted movement are the wights and thrall.
<br />
<br />
I suppose I should mention the Wight Hero (heh, I know what you're thinking - something along the lines of "meh.") He is the Assassin unit on the dark mesh. If you want to know how you could possibly get a wight hero, read the flavor text :). He is around twice the size of an ordinary wight, and while he doesn't do anywhere nearly as much damage, he affects a much wider blast radius. Don't forget that this blast can still cause paralysis. Using the wight hero as a tool is impossible, as you would be commiting suicide as soon as you press "t", however it will make a player think twice about attacking an enemy's Assassin target, as it may well paralyse their whole army.
<br />
<br />
In these ways you can see why the beta testers decided that Triple Backstab has so much potential - I hope you enjoy discovering all the other, smaller features which make the map so much fun to play!<BR>

Please feel free to criticise this map. I think that it is good, but I'm not going to get egotistical about it. :)
<br />
<br />
Units are as follows:
<br />
<br />
4/6 Hearthguards.
<br />
6/8 Berzerkers.
<br />
8/16 Stygian Knights.
<br />
1/2 Dwarf heroes.
<br />
1/2 Heron Guards.
<br />
1/2 Whisps.
<br />
1 Moagim (Assassin target)
<br />
<br />
This is a Marshy map, with water covering most of the ground, with a few hills sprouting up. The Water nullifies most of the hero dwarves power, but they are still good when attacking the high, waterless, ground.
<br />
<br />
Have fun with this, and dont forget to give your opinion!

This is a collection of films recording completion of all solo levels with 0 casulties on Mighty (normal) difficulty (I know, it's not Leg. but I find Leg. 0 casulties to be tedious in the extreme).
<br />
<br />
The following exceptions apply: the level 07 Mazzarin's crypt where winning the level doesn't allow for a film to be saved. I got the Whisp down to nearly dead (unresponsive) and then whacked Damas just so that the film could be saved. Also the last level 25 The Traitor where a distracting sacrifice of at least one unit is probably necessary to achieve victory. This film shows exactly that - winning with 1 casulty.
<br />
<br />
I know this isn't a unique or special feat, but there don't seem to be too many M3 films out there so someone might find these helpful.
<br />
<br />
Also, these were all done with the MythDev 1.1 Final patch and since everyone should have that patch, :) everyone should be able to see these filmz. If you have trouble seeing any of them with the latest patch, please send me an email - moriarty67(at)hotmail(dot)com.<BR>

About this map pack
<br />
<br />
UPDATE: This is the final release of the MapPacks. This release version is updated to work fully with the final Myth3 1.1 Patch developed by MythDev.com in association with Playmyth.net. This mappack CAN be used in RANKED PLAY and is officially approved for online use in Playmyth Ranked games. The main feature of this update is the inclusion of Fetch and Journeyman units to the Map Unitsets much as they were in their original releases. Enjoy.
<br />
<br />
------------------------------------
<br />
<br />
The Creation Map Pack is a map plugin for MythIII: The Wolf Age which features netmaps originally produced for Myth2 by members of the mapmaking group Creation. All of these maps have received loving care for their transition into the Myth III engine. As much as they are ports, and they play very similar to their Myth2counterparts, they are just as much new maps. Enjoy and embrace the changes - in almost every case they are an improvement.
<br />
<br />
The maps included are as follows
<br />
<br />
<br />
Vertigo (Large 4-team Map originally produced by Clem and released within The Seventh God)
<br />
Overall map has been revised and altered to enhance unit movements and accessibility to Flag areas.
<br />
Includes 4 Different Game Meshes
<br />
<br />
River of Life (8-team FFA Map originally produced by Clem for Myth2)
<br />
The Myth3 version of this map has received some altered water areas to allow easier travel around the map.
<br />
Includes 5 Different Game Meshes
<br />
<br />
Hills of the Crow (5-team Map originally produced by Soma for Myth2)
<br />
This map is fairly faithful to it's original ancestor. Not much has been changed.
<br />
Includes 3 Different Game Meshes
<br />
<br />
Barbarian Valley Tourney (2-team Map originally produced by Clem for Myth2)
<br />
Myth3 layout is faithful to it's Myth 2 version. Unit sets are fairly large and best suited for Team Play.
<br />
Includes 3 Different Game Meshes
<br />
<br />
<br />
How to use this plugin
<br />
<br />
To use this plugin put the Creation MapPack1 tag file plugin into the 'Plugins' folder found inside your 'Myth III' folder. It will not work with the demo.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Fine Print
<br />

The artwork from this level, such as the colormap, may not be placed on a CD, packaged in a box, or have its image placed on the back of a retail item. It also must not be used for commercial distribution without the express permission of the author.

Id write something long and fancy but its Creep on the Borderlands the way it was meant to be played
<br />
3 varients
<br />
TFL
<br />
M2 Style
<br />
M3 Style
<br />
<br />
While most will say theres no difference but the subtle things about creep is the unitset and if you change that balance you get different gameplay
<br />
<br />
TFL has my wights with flies woo hoo and jmen thx to cyd
<br />
<br />
M2 has fire and jmen fitting for most of the m2 maps like gimble and such(no wights with flies)
<br />
<br />
M3 has Herons no fire and wights with flies
<br />
<br />
All 3 come with the choice of the original TFL amount of units or the m3 amount depending on difficulty so fear nothing in gameplay nothing has been undone and the three varients pretty much cover it however i might post a new varient or so depending on how people perceive this
<br />
<br />
I take no credit in any of creep only my ugly lil flies heh it was pretty funny i had teardrops at first
<br />
<br />
Based on TFL creep all work done in the m3 version is credited to Mumbo Jumbo for portin this and mythdev for tweaks to the wights<BR>

This map is designed around the trow city of Rhi'anon, the map is a desert map, which is dominated by trow walls. some of the walls have fallen down, and the smaller units are able to climb them to get an advantage.
<br />
In the centre of the map the flag is surrounded by rocks that have to be destroyed in order to reach the middle. The map is fairly open with plenty of space to battle, however battles will always be dictated by the large walls, and battling for the Trow temples may get congested. All the gameplay modes are covered apart from hunting, and stampede is only available on the 2 team meshes.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Rhi'anon Revisited
<br />
This is the standard version with 4 starting positions in the corners of the city, The players start with warriors, archers, dwares and heron gaurd, and on legendary can get a trow. The assassin target is a warlock.
<br />
<br />
Rhi'anon Revisited (Dark)
<br />
This map has 4 starting positions, and has mainly trow units with oghres. Players can get Trow, Warlocks, and Oghre on normal difficulty. On Legendary it is also possible to have an Iron Trow, and a trow priest. The assassin target is a ghol priest.
<br />
<br />
Rhi'anon Revisited (2 Team)
<br />
This map has a similar selection of units as the original, but in greater quantitys. Teams start outside the walls of the city, and can have up to 30 warriors and 20 archers. It is possible to play Stampede on this map, there are 5 warlock targets for assassin.
<br />
<br />
Rhi'anon Revisited [Dark on Light]
<br />
This map has 2 teams, which start opposite each other, one with light units and one with dark units. Dark team can get a trow, with souless, ghols, thrall etc, and light cannot have a trow, but have beserks, with the other original units. Both teams have the same number of points although the units are all different apart from the warlock assassin targets. It is also possible to play stampede on this map.

When Mumbo Jumbo/God Games released the AVI version of the Myth 3 Teaser, I recompressed it in QT format, with some impressive savings in space. This has been posted to a few different Myth sites, and Mumbo Jumbo knows about the file and has not have a problem with it. Same teaser, less fat. Please note that this is a recompression from the AVI - there is <B>NO</B> difference, if you have the AVI, do not bother getting this one. The quality is nearly the same, but as with any video compression, some quality will be loss. Enjoy

BODY:
This map pack contains 3 assorted maps, a light variant, a dark variant, and a very dark variant which contain units similar to "Desert Between Your Ears", "If I had a Trow (TFL)", and "If I had a Hammer."
<br />
<br />
The maps each have their own unique color map, but the landscape changes to match the atmosphere of the variant you are playing. This map also features some of the largest multi-player meshes to date. This map pack is only designed for very large two team games.
<br />
<br />
The maps are "Keep Clones" if anyone remembers the classic "Keep Across the River" from Myth:TFL. A river divides the map into two sections with five places to cross the bridge. The terrain is rolling and hilly with wheat fields on each side. The bases of each team consist of a small town surrounding a center small fortified location. The size of the maps make many typical strategies obsolete and add new elements to gameplay such as scouting.
<br />
<br />
Each map also features three difficulties. I know what you are gonna say but stick with me my story gets better. Depending on the difficulty, your unit counts will be modified as in "Tour de Forts". On easy, the maps will be set up to support a possible 2 on 2 up to a 4 on 4 match, containing approximately 2/3 of the units of "Desert Between Your Ears". On Mighty, the units will be a just right for a 4 on 4 match up to a 6 on 6 match featuing about the same amount of units as "Desert Between Your Ears". On Legendary, you will have a massive army with almost 2x the amount of units as "Desert Between Your Ears", nicely developed for a good 8 on 8 match.
<br />
<br />
Several units have been modified. The Pack Mages are more "fetch-like" in their attacks. In other words, they do more damage. Also on "Tale of Two Cities" Each team will receive a "Giant" which is just a suped up Warrior Hero.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Tale of Two Cities
<br />
<br />
The first Variant is the "Light" variant featuring typical light units, (Journeymen, Warriors, Archers (no fire), Dwarves, Ghol, Thrall, and Wights). The setting here is two feuding villages with green landscapes and running water. Also added to each base is a plethora of goodies to use during combat such as some free satchels, wight puss for the ghol lovers out there, and some extra roots for your journeymen. The assassin unit on "Tales" is a Pack Mage. Also each team receives a free "Giant" (suped up warrior hero).
<br />
<br />
<br />
Sodom and Gomorrah
<br />
<br />
What would any map be without a dark variant? Sodom and Gomorrah gives you the feel of a post-apocalyptic landscape covered in meteor craters with unflowing stangnant water. The units are similar to "If I had a Trow TFL" featuring Trow, Oghers, Bezerks, Soulless, Pack Mage (fetch-like), Wights, Spiders, Dwarf Heros. The assassin unit is a minitrow, a new unit, check it out.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Kingdom Come
<br />
<br />
The final variant, the uber Dark variant is Kingdom Come. This landscape has the feeling of the earth's last days. Dimly lit with an erie red glow, this map features similar units to "If I had a Hammer". The units consist of Trow Iron Warrior, Myrkridia, Hearth Guardsman, Ghol Priests, Dwarven Engineers, Pack Mages (fetch-like), Stygian Knights, and Wights. The assassin unit is who else, but Santa Claus, come down from the mountain to aid you.
<br />
<br />
I'd like to give special thanks to Pezzah for helping me with the title screens, and everyone at the MythWA forums for help in creating this map. Thanks also to SavageWolf for beta-testing the map and LeeGholEyesIt for miscellaneous help also. Thanks again.

"A Place to Stand"
<br />
<br />
This map had been updated to take advantage and be compatible with the final version of Myth 3 as patched by Mythdev. PLEASE NOTE YOU NEED BETA 2 OR HIGHER FROM MYTHDEV IN ORDER FOR THIS MAP TO WORK CORRECTLY>
<br />
<br />
I have also added a new mesh (A Place to Spin), and the stampede game type across all five meshes, to make re-downloading the map worth your time
<br />
<br />
A Place to Stand (v1_3_2) is a map plugin for MythIII: The Wolf Age, created by Leadfeather.
<br />
<br />
There are five variants of this map. I would tell you what they are but hell, no one reads these info sheets anyway. Just open the map.
<br />
<br />
How to use this plugin
<br />
<br />
To use this plugin put the 'A Place to Stand_v1_3_2.tag' plugin into the 'Plugins' folder found inside your 'Myth III' folder. Make sure you remove all older versions of 'A Place to Stand' from your plugins folder.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Fine Print
<br />
<br />
This plug-in may be used and distributed freely as long as the documentation in this folder is included. The artwork from this level, such as the colormap, may not be placed on a CD, packaged in a box, or have its image placed on the back of a retail item (such as the level from Jinn that was placed on the back of MythWorlds).It also must not be used for commercial distribution without the express permission of the author.

BODY:
This is my second Myth3 map I have released for testing, and I think it is quite fun, all things considered.
<br />
<br />
The map theme is of a dark foresty theme (forest heart was the best name I could come up with, but it will prolly change by the final release), and the map and units tend toward quick, decisive battles (the map has a heavy tendency toward tactical play instead of strategic).
<br />
<br />
4 starts.
<br />
Unitset:
<br />
(standard/max)
<br />
Archers 4/6
<br />
Myrkridian Warriors 8/12
<br />
Warriors 7/10 (I modified the warriors slightly to make them worth trading for)
<br />
Heron Guards 2/4
<br />
Stygian Knights 12/18
<br />
Avatara 1 (non tradible, he is without spells and only appears in assassin as the target)
<br />
<br />
<br />
At present there is only one mesh, but I will work on both another FFA mesh, and a 2-team mesh.
<br />
<br />
Anyway, enjoy!

This is a set of 5 desktops featuring original hand drawings by me (Orlando the Axe). These will also soon be up at www.MythWolfAge.com so you can also download them there if you wish. The five wallpapers in this package include a dwarf, a thrall, a warlock, a group shot and a bonus TFL journeyman. All are at 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x1024 resolutions.
<br />
<br />
Special thanks go to Mumbo Jumbo (especially Craig "Santa's Head" Goodman for his support and encouragement) and Bungie Software for inspiring me to create these with their games, Anony at MWA.com for posting these, Blambi and Pfhor for putting up with my ramblings about these on the CoM hotline, and Colossus, Captain Pringle and Phantom Lord for umm, testing these on their computers (yes they work!) :)
<br />
Thank you to everyone who downloads these wallpapers. I hope you enjoy them.

We all love ramparts its the map demo people play all the time well not that i was ever on demo so it holds some warmth to me to have killed many a n00b on the lovely frozen map
<br />
<br />
Today im releasing my contribution to this great map by adding something old with something new
<br />
<br />
Rage has 5 different meshes most are very light based with the exception of one which is theme based
<br />
<br />
Fixed one bug on six team mesh thx to Loki
<br />
<br />
The meshes are
<br />
4 Team varient with traditional ramparts units
<br />
5 Team Varient with fast light units
<br />
6 Team Varient with a wild flare to make it interesting
<br />
2 Team War its just as it reads
<br />
2 Team (secret) if i told you you just might like it too much
<br />
<br />
Added some things fixed others modified some others to make this plugin unique
<br />
Ghol Brutes now carry and throw things
<br />
Warlocks can do ring of fire and mini fireball without losing the main big fireball
<br />
Spearman can throw farther then the patch ones but are slower
<br />
Wights with flies( i dont know i thought it was cool)
<br />
<br />
Now the credits Id like to take my m3 friends who asked me to make a ramparts mesh that had the best of both the great mythdev work and the original so a comprimise was done by myself to try to stick near the 1.1 patch but yet give the ailing units a fighting chance too
<br />
<br />
Id especially like to thank mythdev and mumbojumbo for their contributions to the myth series no matter what negative flare has blow across them and id like to thank t2i for keepin myth alive

BODY:
This map will test your myth strengths in a new and more challenging way than any other before it. Battle indside of a town, with very little room to move, and very little time to do it in. The buildings make excelent places to sneak round, and moving your troops around the streets will need some good camera skills. For players with nerves of steel, try the map with with no overhead, and fear for your life at every turn.
<br />
There are 5 different meshes to chose from, each different from the other, but they still follow some of the same rules.
<br />
<br />
On All Meshes:
<br />
Set the difficulty to weak to have a normal game, mighty games have the addition of peasants runing around in the way, and in legendary, there are also sachel charges and mandrake roots all over the map. You will also be able to use some better units if you set the difficulty to legendary.
<br />
You may notice that the peasants you start with have names of people from within the myth community, this is true for peasant fighter, torch bearers and crippled peasants. I have put the names of as many people who have tested the map as possible. I have probably missed a few though.
<br />
There are all the game modes available to play on this map, including stampede and hunting. When playing stampede you will start with a "King Cripple" and may chose how many crippled peasants to have along side him. The object is always to get them to the centre of the map, but they move very slowly, and to keep them alive can be tricky. For hunting, the targets become all the neutral peasants, you can however still play this game in weak.
<br />
<br />
Llancarfan Street Brawl: [4 team]
<br />
Standard light units of archers, warriors and dwarves, as well as thrall and wights. Assasin targets are the spider cultists, and you get warlocks in legendary mode.
<br />
<br />
Llancarfan Street Raid: [4 team]
<br />
This is a map which happens a night, which means most of the lighing comes from peasant torches, and from fixed lights. This will make it hard to see the enemy, unless there are peasants near. The units are based around myrkridian hordes, and therefore this mesh is one of the first places you can controll every type of myrkridia at the same time. The assasin targets are heron gaurd heros, and you get a myrkridian giant in legendary mode, but he can't fit down a lot of the alleys.
<br />
<br />
Llancarfan Street Party: [8 team]
<br />
This is an explosive mesh, I have used the kamikazi dwarf from fracture, added some dwarves, Warlocks, Flaming souless, Herons, and Beserks. This map also takes place at night, so it is especially easy to get a kamikaze dwarf amongst the enemy! The assasin targets are 2 Connachts, and you get Dwarven Smiths in legendary mode.
<br />
<br />
Llancarfan Street Elite: [8 team]
<br />
This map which is designed for 8 seperate players to battle on. The mesh features a select amount of units, small enough for 1 person to handle, but big enough to make for some interestingly tactical play. Hero Herons, Beserks, Dwarfs, and Hearth Gaurdsmen are main units, you can also have warlocks on legendary, and Connacht serves as the assasin target.
<br />
<br />
Llancarfan Street Duel: [2 team]
<br />
This map is designed for many players to be on each team, it features a very similar unit selection to Brawl, but a lot more of them. This will allow for many different little skirmishes to occur throughout the map, and mean that the most organised team will be the winners. Spider cultists are the assasin target, and play on legendary to include warlocks.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Many Thanks to Phish for the tutorial
<br />
Thanks to Vista for the flaming souless
<br />
Thanks to Hpaco and the Dawg Pound for the Myrkridian Giant
<br />
Thanks to Electrofryer For the Kamikaze Dwarf

The JFIF stripper 0.5
<br />
GUI Application written by khrome
<br />
based on a command line function by daisykiller
<br />
The JFIF_Stripper is a free Java application which strips any number of JPEG/JFIF images from a file, it was created for use with Myth III tags but will work on most files containg JPEG images. This Version is Packaged for Mac OS X.
<br />
Operation
<br />
Upon opening the application you are presented with the viewer window with an empty buffer. In the upper left is an indicator of your current postion out of the total number of JPEG images in the buffer.
<br />
Open a file in the file menu using.. you guessed it the "open" option and it will dump all the JPEGs it finds into the view window buffer.
<br />
The arrow buttons skip through the images and the jump command in the option menu allows you to jump to a specific JPEG.
<br />
Files are saved individually via the save command.
<br />
0.6 Features
<br />
The stripper will now only attempt to load up to a maximum (the default is 100) and is displayed to the right of the current total. this current total can be edited in the options menu.
<br />
To get the next set of images in the current file use Option->Next Set
<br />
The progress bar is inaccurate, so don't pay attention to it.. also be aware it will persist until you have retrieved all images in a file.
<br />
Any comments, suggestions or bugs should be directed towards: abbey@khrome.net
<br />
Enjoy!

BODY:
Valley Of The Damned features some of the tallest scenery ever created for a myth title. The valley is very deep, and there are two sets of high bridges that span the entire level, only stopping to meet large plateaus in the middle. There are plenty of trees, a river featuring a waterfall, a stream, and it's surrounded by sets of tall well-rendered cliffs. There is a small central hill where multiplier flags, and balls are placed. The map design favors the defensive player, because of the height of it, with many vantage points, however there is always more than one way to attack a position, and usually at least one of those ways is on the flat.
<br />
<br />
Meshes:
<br />
Valley Of The Damned (2 Team)
<br />
<br />
This Mesh is designed not for 2 players, but for two teams of players, as the armies are massive. It is possible to have up to 100 Archers, and 100 Warriors on the map at the same time. There are also a possible 12 trow, and loads of other units. The target for two player assassins on this level is none other than Sykrosh the spider god from single player levels.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Valley Of The Damned (4 Team)
<br />
<br />
The idea is the same as with 2 players, except the armies are much smaller, and the teams start in each of the four corners. This mesh should result in some long battles, as tactics play a key part in capturing the flags, which are fairly easily guarded.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Valley Of The Damned (8 Team)
<br />
<br />
This level is designed for 8 separate players, who all start in good positions, but to win the level must move from them. The problem is that with 8 teams, the chances are you will run into another team where-ever you go. In this mesh there is no-where to hide, and some of the flags are in more exposed areas of the map, which will mean some desperate gaming.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Valley Of The Insane
<br />
<br />
Ever wanted to control an army of Connachts? Well this is the map for you, the unit selections are crazy, with 9 staring positions, and a whole bunch of specialist units this mesh will see utter mayhem. The Mesh features "King Of The Ball". There are Iron Trows, Trow Priests, Mykridia, Dwarf Heroes, the spider God, and far too many Warlocks. Couple this with the fact that it is possible to have 45 Trow on this map and you've got.. INSANITY!
<br />

The Grass Between Your Teeth is a conversion from a map I released for Myth 2. It was already released from my site, but I decided to mirror it here too.
<br />
<br />
Here is some slightly edited text from the M2 version:
<br />
-- This map doesn't have any particularly inovative features such as new units or amazing scripting, but it is still great fun. It was designed as a 2 - 4 player map because it is like a mini 2-team map - when you can't find enough players to play a decent team or FFA game, just whip out this one - it is unique for its size, with strategies which seem familiar from FFA and 2 team games, but not quite the same.
<br />
-- The map might remind you of Desert. Just a tad. You will love it if you like Desert
<br />
-- The map is small (you can cross it in a minute or so, apparently.
<br />
<br />
The Myth 3 version has a few extra features including:
<br />
-- A remake of the Myth 2 unit - the "ghast"
<br />
-- A 4 team mesh
<br />
-- Interesting assassin targets
<br />
<br />
Well, that's it - have fun!<BR>
